Unless you've selected no lossy formats, it means your Flacs will be decoded made into MP3 files and Ogg files. The interim WAV files are not kept.

Sweet... Is there a way to search on shows availble in mp3? Also will there be flacs available of this show aswell as the mp3s?

Of course there will be flacs also. That is the whole point of this archive (to provide lossless audio).

currently there is no way to search for mp3/ogg concerts. but we hope to get to that soon.

For now, jon posts a list in the forums.

We are looking to do a bigger pass of cleanup and conversion for the April 1 "10,000 shows by 500 artists" milestone.
